(An-Nahl) 16 : 69

“Then eat from all the fruits and follow the ways that your Lord inspired”; there emerges from their stomach a drink, varying in colors in which there is healing for mankind, Indeed in that is a sign for people who meditate and reflect.

Inspiration means telepathy, where the message is known only to the sender and receiver. Not only for honey bees but for the heavens also Lord gives inspiration as told in verse 41: 12. It is told in verses 99: 4-5 that on the Day of Judgment, earth will produce its record according to the Inspiration from the Lord. Angels are getting Inspiration from Lord as explained in verse 8: 12. Messenger Moses’s mother was given inspiration from Lord as told in verse 20: 38. Adhikr is the Inspiration of the Lord which is sent down to Messengers through Angel Jibreel as explained in verses 2: 1 and 98.

Honey bee not only eats flowers and fruits but also jaggery, sugar, cereals, etc. “Honey bee follows the ways that your Lord inspired” told in the verse means it is having a disciplined way of life by not eating from impure things and spreading diseases like houseflies. The honey bee is mentioned in feminine gender in Lord’s Book because the Queen bee is always surrounded by the male worker bees in a beehive. Honey which contains fructose, glucose, maltose, and water is used generally as food and medicine which can be stored for years without using preservatives. Even if honey bees are mentioned in verses of this Surath, honey is only mentioned in verse 47: 15.

From these, one can understand that Adhikr is the Three-Time-Knowledge from the Lord and not from the illiterate Messenger Muhammad. In honey, there is healing for some, whereas Adhikr is the Healing for both the soul and body of entire mankind as explained in verse 10: 57. Only the believer testifies It as told in verses 17: 82 and 41: 44. But for the Fujjar, Adhikr increases filth over filth as explained in verses 9: 28, 95 and 125. See explanation 4: 1; 7: 185 and 13: 2-3.
